Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Minneapolis (the “City”) is constructing a new multi-purpose office and public safety building (the “Public Service Building”) at 505 4th Avenue South. The site is near the existing City of Minneapolis City Hall and Hennepin County Courthouse (“City Hall”) at 450 South Fifth Street. The new building, in combination with the existing City Hall building, creates a centralized campus to meet all of the City’s downtown office space needs. The new Public Service Building is approximately 382,000 square feet: one (1) story below ground and ten (10) stories above ground. There will be approximately 1,100 employees in the building. There is a total of three (3) skyways which are used by the general public to connect to the skyway system at large, including connectivity to the US Bank Stadium for events and game days. The City Hall building occupies an entire city block and has almost 900,000 gross square feet including both City and County spaces. It measures 305’9” on each of its’ four (4) sides and has four (4) levels, plus a basement area.
