Proposals for this RFP must include the following two required services: 1) Employment and training services and supports (i.e. soft employment skill development, resume assistance, interview assistance, training/credential opportunities, stipend/incentive opportunities to earn as you learn) to assist residents in overcoming barriers to obtaining and retaining employment that provides a livable wage; and 2) Direct financial support to assist with emergent financial needs due to experiencing the benefits cliff (i.e. assistance with housing, childcare, food/hygiene needs, transportation, employment related needs). Proposals may also include one or more the following optional services: 3) Individualized financial education and planning services (provided to the eligible population served); and/or 4) Direct savings match program (established by the proposing organization to assist the eligible population served with have a savings account match in place. Proposing organizations of this service category must provide a copy of their policy that describes how this matching program will function).
