Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Screening and Assessment – staff will be available for intake and screening of referred individuals (including self-referrals) 24/7, 365 days a year, to determine the appropriateness of the admission based on the current needs of the individual balanced with the needs of the current residents. 2. Licensure – The Crisis Residential Treatment Provider must maintain appropriate licensure from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) at all times. 3. Staffing will be provided in accordance with current MN Statute and Rule in accordance with the service to be provided to the individual: MN Rule 9520.0050 to 9520-0690 (Rule 36) Variance to Minnesota Rules – R36V.01 to R36V.16 with the following noted exemption for Crisis stabilization service. For license holders who only provide CSS, the license holder is exempt from the requirements of section, R36V.04, subdivision 3, paragraphs (b), and (d) through (j), and subdivisions 5, 6, and 7, and section R36V.05, subdivision 7.
