The Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) is seeking to restore wetlands to generate wetland mitigation credits for the Local Government Road Wetland Replacement Program (LGRWRP). Restoration efforts will be pursued through third-party and partnership projects targeting Bank Service Areas (BSAs) 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10; In addition, BWSR is seeking to purchase existing wetland credits that have already been deposited into the State Wetland Banking System, specifically from BSAs 5 and 9. Proposals will be accepted, in order of preference, for Circular 39 wetland credit types 2, 3, 6, 1, 4, and 7 that have been approved under the Wetland Conservation Act (WCA) and by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers under the Federal Clean Water Act.
