Specifications include, but are not limited to:The purpose of this Solicitation is to secure snow removal and ice control services at the Minnesota National Guard facility as shown on the Facility Map and further defined within the Scope of Work. No sidewalk clearing is required. The Contract Vendor shall plow when snow accumulation is of two inches or more (7 days a week). Snow removal must be completed 7 days a week. The Contract Vendor shall bill only per snow fall accumulation according to the as measured by the closest National Weather Service or local airport. No plowing of snow is to be done unless snow accumulation is more than two inches, as reported by the as measured by the closest National Weather Service or local airport, or if snowfall with blowing conditions has accumulated in drifts that make normal use of the facilities difficult. The Contract Vendor will be notified by the State’s Authorized Representative if it is necessary to come back to the site to clear any areas which have been affected by blowing conditions or drifts.
