Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) division of DHS intends to revise its agreement with Netsmart Technologies, Inc. (hereinafter “Netsmart”), to expand the scope of products and services provided under the current agreement. The additional products and services may be included for the remaining 48 months of the current agreement. The current agreement provides software licensing, subscription services, advanced hosting, user monitoring, security services, and system maintenance of the multi-faceted electronic medical records system (hereinafter collectively “System”) that is used by DCT. The revision is necessary to add licensing, maintenance, support, subscriptions, and transactions for UpDox eFax and RevConnect. These additional components assist with patient payments and communication through the System. myAvatar and eFax are two components that are part of the System. RevConnect integrates with myAvatar, which ensures that the RevConnect products are completely compatible with myAvatar and its functions. In addition, Netsmart’s integration with the RevConnect support team ensures issues can be resolved without involving multiple parties or the patient. UpDox is Netsmart’s value added partner for eFax. Procuring UpDox from Netsmart ensures the UpDox services are enabled inside the System’s referral manager and integrated into the System. For these reasons DHS has determined this to be a single source purchase.
