The Department of Admin/Corrections requests proposals for television service for the Minnesota Department of Corrections Facilities (DOC – MCFs or MCFs). The MCFs are located in Faribault, Lino Lakes, Oak Park Heights, Red Wing, Rush City, St. Cloud, Shakopee, Stillwater, Togo, Willow River/Moose Lake, and specific addresses can be located here: DOC Directory / Department of Corrections. The ideal Respondent will be able to provide television service at most, if not all, MCFs in Minnesota. Sample Tasks and Deliverables. Contractor shall provide television service for DOC – MCFs. The MCFs range in square footage and configuration of campuses. Some MCFs own their head-end equipment, some lease their equipment from a current vendor. Some of the MCFs have antiquated head end equipment that is due for replacement. A list of each MCF’s equipment is found on Attachment G: Narrative Response, attached to the RFP. If additional or updated equipment is required to provide programming to the facility and the cost for the required equipment and installation is passed on to the State, these equipment and installation costs must be identified. These costs will be considered when determining which responder offers the best value for the State. Upon completion of the installation of any equipment purchased by the State under this contract, the equipment will become the property of the State. There are currently 8,631 drops statewide. The drops per facility range from 100 to 2000, but the State desires to be able to increase or decrease drops as the need changes. In the Price Schedule, responders are to submit a price per drop, per month based upon three different scenarios.
