1. Program completion for businesses that participated in the 2024 Program and have not yet completed project implementation (estimated to be 8 businesses) in accordance with Program guidelines and their County-approved Application. 2. Work with businesses to participate in the 2025 Program for the County Program: • The terms “commercial” and “business” mean for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations and excludes multiunit dwellings, public entities, and schools (public and private) as these entities are engaged via other County funding programs. The County estimates 20-25 business will participate in the 2025 Program. 3. Ensure best waste management practices are applied in each business, including use of Program resources. 4. Projects result in documented: A. Reduction in the amount of waste generated (e.g., waste avoided, items reused), B. Increased recycling*, and/or C. Increased food waste/organics recovery, including edible food donated. 5. Accurate applications and baseline and final reports are submitted to the County.
