Assist in developing a written plan to produce displays and 4-7 exhibits that inform the public about the benefits of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and other emerging energy technologies and practices for Department use across various outreach efforts. A. Assist in developing concepts and messaging for public outreach displays and exhibits through consultation with Department leadership and staff. B. Propose displays and components to convey approved messaging to update existing exhibit inventory and through new exhibit pieces. Update existing display inventory by proposing components and/or new displays that communicate Commerce approved messaging. C. Provide draft layout drawings (e.g. in SketchUp format) for exhibits detailing displays/component location, traffic flow, accessibility, lighting and other considerations. D. Develop a timeline for project implementation for each exhibit update and new displays. Task 2: Assist in the creation of detailed designs/drawings Assist in the creation of detailed designs/drawings of display elements for EIC design concepts for exhibits and displays for outreach events. A. Based on the written plan developed under Task 1, create detailed designs for individual displays and potential exhibit layout consisting of more than one display. Develop working technical drawings for components including material and labor estimates for fabrication for new displays and potential exhibit layouts. B. Provide layout options, using finalized approved drawings (e.g. in SketchUp format) for what potential display configurations could be used to create an entire exhibit area. Finalized drawings would include proposed display locations, pedestrian traffic flow, lighting, accessibility and other components. C. Provide a set of instructions on how best to store, secure and transport displays for educational/outreach purposes targeting youth and adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities...
