Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Research and Interpretive Framework: The consulting firm will review and become familiar with the Minnesota Bison Conservation Herd’s recommended scientific sources for bison information, as well as the Spring Lake Park Reserve Bison Herd Interpretive Framework (Attachment F).; Deliverables: • Ensure the interpretation is informed by the Minnesota Bison Conservation Herd’s interpretive framework and supporting resources, as well as the Spring Lake Park Reserve Bison Herd interpretive framework.; • Develop an interpretive framework for review and incorporate comments recommended by Dakota County staff.; 2. Content Development: The consulting firm will develop the panel text and content for review.; Deliverables: • Identification of specific interpretive themes and sub-themes for the interpretive messages presented in the panels.; • Photo or image acquisition and any associated fees and permissions.; • Provide pre-write or draft content development for review by Dakota County staff and Minnesota Bison Conservation Herd partners.; • Revisions to content as requested by Dakota County.; 3. Graphic Design: The consulting firm will follow the County’s design standards and branding to develop 5 interpretive panels.; Deliverables: • Provide draft graphic design for review by Dakota County Parks and Minnesota Bison Conservation Herd partners, incorporate comments and revisions. It is anticipated there will be two rounds review prior to finalization.; • Provide print ready files for sign fabrication company.
