The purpose of this RFP is to contract with one or more community organization that can provide services related to the prevention of, response to, or restoration of victims of human trafficking including both labor and sex trafficking. Service providers must have a consistent presence at the South Minneapolis Safety Center (“Center”). Services provided by the Organization should include, but not be limited to, advocacy, consulting, professional training, community education, and survivor support to address immediate basic needs and safety. Collaboration with other service providers is essential in the Center including consultation, resource referral, and training. Collaboration may occur on an as needed basis or by appointment. Collaboration may involve access to cybercrime specialists and other investigative resources with law enforcement, including electronic storage detective K9s.
