Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Study Design and Questionnaires/Input Tools Development •Meet with the MnDOT snow and ice public engagement team to discuss study objectives and methodology options •Propose and finalize the quantitative and qualitative data collection methodology plan, per the specifications outlined above •Select locations/sites in MnDOT districts where face-to-face components of the study will be conducted (if applicable) •Identify cooperating organizations to assist with recruiting a portion of the participants (including both general public and freight truckers) •Design and propose the online component of the study, considering current, innovative techniques and recruitment strategies •Draft all data collection tools, based on, but not limited to, the 2007 study and the current project team’s information objectives •Pre-test the data collection tools for quantitative component of the study; adjust accordingly 2.Data Collection •Discuss the use of incentives for the project •Work with cooperating organizations in the different geographic locations to assist with recruitment •Conduct face-to-face data collection through facilitated conversation, with MnDOT district and project team staff on-site to answer questions and otherwise talk with participants (if applicable) •Manage the online data collection MnDOT Contract No. 1034886 Exhibit A RFP Scope of Work 4 3.Analysis and reporting •Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis including identifying differences from the past research study (2007) results, key findings, etc. •Provide a PowerPoint summary report for presentation to various internal and possibly external audiences, presentation should be customizable for various audiences and therefore comprehensive •Provide companion Excel data tables and any other complimentary data for future reference •Provide a clean Excel data file at the project’s conclusion
