Specifications include, but are not limited to: snow removal at SPPS facilities as listed in 2.22. Removal consists of plowing snow on all paved surface areas designated by SPPS. Paved surfaces include parking lots, bus drives, boulevard bus cutouts (loading/unloading areas), hard surface playground areas, and loading docks. Bids shall include all labor and equipment necessary to complete the work specified. 2.2. Snow removal will occur seven days per week on an as needed basis. 2.3. The Vendor(s) shall remove snow when a snow event accumulates three (3) or more inches in depth on parking lot areas. In the event of a dispute over the depth of snow, the accuracy of the depth measurement shall be determined by SPPS in its absolute and sole discretion. Snow removal shall only be removed at a lesser depth at the direction of SPPS. If conditions occur where District buildings are closed for extended periods of time, the District reserves the right to adjust the trigger. This adjustment will be completed with written notification of seven (7) calendar days prior to the change.
