Specifications include, but are not limited to: Wright County Parks and Recreation Department is soliciting sealed proposals for the installation of 75 light fixtures along the cross-country ski trail at Ney Park 5212 73rd St. NW, Maple Lake, MN 55358. All equipment at the site will need to be secured when not in operation and any hazardous areas must be covered or fenced off during non-working hours. 1. The intent of this scope of work is to provide a design/ build trail lighting system for cross country skiing in the dark of winter nights. 2. Electrical contractor to provide/ install a lighting system based on the following parameters. 3. EC to provide/ install all wiring systems in 2” PVC conduit at a 24” depth minimum and voltage drop must be considered for distances. All exposed conduit at bridges must be in Rigid Metal Conduit with flex connections where bridge and soil meet. Aluminum Wire sizes 2-#2 XHHW and #4 XHHW ground. 4. EC to coordinate with Power company (Wright Hennepin) for location of new transformer, (west side of parking lot). WHE to install directional boring of road and parking lot for primary service conductors) Budget $3500. 5. EC to install a new 200 amp 120/ 240 volt single phase outdoor rated service with meter socket on 4x4 treated wood posts w/ treated decking material for backing. Placement to be determined by Wright County Parks and WHE. 6. EC to visit site due to certain conditions such as bridge crossings and creeks. 7. All light fixtures to be installed at an average of every 100’ apart, except for certain hills and corners where light may be required if it does not fall in the 100’ area.
