A schedule of pickup times for the route from the Andersen Building and 444 Lafayette Road is included as Attachment B. It is estimated that the Shuttle Services will require a 20-minute frequency for one (1) round trip. The shuttle operations include loading and unloading passengers and travel time between the two buildings. The final route and pickup times will be negotiated with the Contract Vendor prior to the start of service. An additional shuttle route between 540 Cedar Street and 345 Plato Blvd, St. Paul (Attachment C), MAY BE ADDED TO THE CONTRACT AT A FUTURE DATE, upon mutual agreement between the State and Contract Vendor. The State reserves the right for future negotiation of terms, conditions, and pricing of this shuttle route if added at a future date. The Contract Vendor may assume the additional route will have the same pick up times and number of shuttle buses required as the dedicated route shown in Attachment A. Pickup times will be supplied by the State at the time of route request. It is estimated that 330 State employees, DHS guests, clients and vendors will utilize the Shuttle Service daily. All shuttle buses used by the Contract Vendor must be ADA (American Disability Act) compliant and must have the ability to transport at least two (2) wheel chair passengers at any given time. Services shall operate from approximately 6:00 AM, to approximately 5:30 PM, each weekday Monday through Friday except on official State holidays which are New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. 2. SPECIAL DHS EVENTS. There may be occasions for additional buses to be added to the dedicated route to handle anticipated numbers of employees or guests during an event planned at one of the route buildings or when shuttle passengers are attending a special event not part of the dedicated route. These occasions may require additional buses to handle the expected passengers and the Contract Vendor may charge for additional buses used for these circumstances with the final cost mutually agreed upon by both parties. A written quote must be supplied to the ordering State/Agency for these additional buses. The costs provided in the quote may not exceed the prices listed on the Price Schedule.
