Specifications include, but are not limited to: Assess students for special education evaluation and services, using professionally approved testing instruments, in the areas of cognitive testing, learning disabilities, autism and social/behavioral concerns. (Examples would be WISC V, WJ III, ADOS, and BASC/FBA) • Conduct record reviews • Provide written assessments, reports of data and impressions from of student evaluations in a timely manner • Participate in Individual Educational Planning (IEP) and/or student support meetings as requested • Consult with school administration and special education staff regarding student needs and programming • Observe student in classrooms if necessary • Conduct interviews with parents, students when appropriate • Consult with Psychological and Therapeutic providers as needed/appropriate • Consult with family members to assist them in understanding and supporting their student(s) were appropriate • Consult with special education staff when warranted.
