The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a Contractor to supply one sandbag filling machine, delivered FOB(D) Lock & Dam 3, Welch, MN within 180 days of contract award.
The machine shall be (name brand) Sandbagger Model II or equal with characteristics that include:
- Load Capacity: 2 cubic yards
- Bi-directional hydraulic pump
- Ability to fill up to 1,600 bags per hour
- Four (4) filling stations
- 5.5 HP gasoline engine
- Self-contained - able to be transported in a pickup truck bed or trailer
All equipment shall be delivered to Lock & Dam 3 in Welch, MN between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Mon - Fri except Federal Holidays. All shipping and handling charges are to be included in the unit price.
Please include the manufacturer, model numbers, and specifications (i.e. cut sheets) of all equipment your firm is quoting, to ensure that it meets specifications. Please include the Country of Origin for all equipment with your quote.
