The City of Saint Paul, through the Saint Paul Public Library (SPPL), is seeking qualifications from qualified firms to furnish and install Automated Materials Handling (AMH) systems to replace existing 3M Library sorters at various library locations. The selected proposer will provide design, equipment, installation, integration, and commissioning services to ensure seamless operation with the SPPL’s Sierra Integrated Library System (ILS), existing RFID tags, and compliance with all City standards. This procurement will follow a Two-Step Best Value Method (BVM) selection process as authorized by the City’s Procurement Policy. Project • Removal and responsible recycling of all existing 3M Library systems. • Make recommendations on future replacement systems in buildings with current systems. • Assess potential efficiencies for adding sortation capabilities at the Library Materials Management Center (LMMC).
