Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP/Solicitation) is to accept offers and contract with a vendor to provide REGULAR and TREATED crushed rock salt (sodium chloride) – for road use for the 2017-2018 Season. The Solicitation is for the following service and is divided into two Customer groups: A. Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) – Regular Delivery Service. Currently, only regular salt is required for MnDOT. MnDOT has its own separate Excel Price Schedule. B. Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) Members and other State agencies – Regular Delivery Service. There are two separate Excel Price Schedules for CPV members, one for regular salt and one for treated salt.
