The Minnesota State Patrol (“MSP”), a division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (“DPS”) requires a service Contractor to perform milling and the application of anti-rust coating for up to but not exceeding one hundred (100) Glock G45R handgun units, in preparation for the application and attachment of Trijicon SRO3 red-dot sights. MSP will strip the handguns of their internal pieces and perform reconstruction as well as optic mounting. Winning bidder will be sent up to one hundred (100) units of stripped slides to mill and subsequently apply anti-rust coating. The awarded bidder must carry insurance as identified in Exhibit B of this contract to cover damaged items if not milled correctly. The Contractor, who is not a State employee, shall: • Obtain, or have already obtained, an SVG file for milling specifications from Glock or Trijicon specific to Trijicon SRO3 red-dot sights. • Mill up to but not exceeding one hundred (100) stripped Glock G45R slides for the correct footprint as determined by the SVG file. • Apply anti-rust coating for up to but not exceed one hundred (100) milled Glock G45R slides. Coating must be either clear or black and must be sufficient to ensure that no rust develops on the milled area. • Ship the completed Glock G45R slides to 15000 HWY 115 EMTC attn Dave Johnston Little Falls, MN 56345. • Complete the above identified duties within thirty (30) calendar days upon receipt of the stripped slides from MSP. NOTE: No work, duties, or tasks pursuant to an awarded contract may be subcontracted.
