Goal #1: The Client seeks a Recreation Management system that will support this organizational mission: “The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board permanently preserves, protects, maintains, improves, and enhances its natural resources, parkland, and recreational opportunities for current and future generations of our region including people, plants, and wildlife. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board dismantles historic inequities in the provision of park and recreation opportunities for all people to gather, celebrate, contemplate, and engage in activities that promote health, wellbeing, community, and the environment.” Goal #2: The Client is looking to do this via a recreation management system that will: • Provide real-time information to field staff • Provide real-time information to management, commissioners, and the public • Quickly enter and respond to public requests/complaints • Customize dashboards and other interfaces into the system depending on the task and informational needs of the user • Be simple to understand and navigate for non-technical staff, while also being very reliable • Be a system we can grow with as we continue to improve operations and efficiency Goal #3: Develop and integrate this system into the Client’s organization via an implementation that: • Is strategic, well-planned, and focused on building foundational elements of the system • Works with existing business processes where they exist and supports the development and integration of new processes • Uses proven approaches to train and support large numbers of staff • Builds trust and momentum with staff for system adoption and use
