The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit responses from Contractor(s) to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for various radio antenna systems located throughout the State of Minnesota for Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) owned or leased radio tower facilities. The resulting contract(s) will be available to other state agencies and local units of government, on an as-needed basis. Services may include installation, maintenance and emergency repair of antenna systems to include tower top amplifiers, microwave dish antennas, coaxial cables, waveguides, and connectors. This work may consist of maintenance and emergency repair of tower lighting systems, re-lamping of radio tower lighting systems, tower lighting electrical systems, and the replacement and repair of wiring, junction boxes, electrical terminals, bulb sockets, and conduit. The work may also include minor tower repairs and tower structure maintenance tasks. All work is to be performed in accordance with: - ANSI/ASSE Z359 Fall Protection Codes - OSHA 29 CFR 1926, Subpart M – Fall Protection Standards - All other applicable regulations and standards that govern the requirements for the work
