1. The elevator modernization project consists of a comprehensive, turnkey, and code compliant modernization of five (5) simplex hydraulic passenger elevators and one (1) C1- loading freight elevator. 2. The Elevator Contractor shall be the “prime contractor” and responsible for the management and cost of all work necessary to complete the project, unless otherwise specified. 3. The prime contractor shall include any and all General Contractor work in their base bid. Contractor shall provide an engineering report from a certified engineer, on each elevator. This report shall detail any cab weight modifications. Any structural modifications or reinforcement required within that report shall be the responsibility of the elevator contractor.
