Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Respond to a disaster notification within 12 hours of being contacted by the City of Minneapolis. 2. Respond to a disaster scene within 24 hours of being notified by the City of Minneapolis of the site’s accessibility. 3. Provide professional advice on the most practical and efficient options for the salvage, recovery and remediation of records, in formats including but not limited to paper, photographs, videos, microfilm, and electronic files on physical media. 4. After consultation with, and with prior approval by the City of Minneapolis, provide the services needed to accomplish the salvage and recovery of records, within the approved timeframe. 5. Conduct removal and stabilization services in a timely manner to eliminate the risk of further damage to the collections. 6. To the extent possible, use non-damaging methods and procedure to remove records and information materials from City of Minneapolis locations. 7. To the extent possible, inventory and track records throughout the remediation process. 8. Maintain the records in secure and access controlled locations, and ensure records or their content is not disclosed. 9. Provide packing supplies, pallets, and other needed materials and pack records and information materials for transport, if records are moved offsite 10. Provide secure transportation with documented chain-of-custody, if records are moved offsite
