The Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office is seeking responses to this RFP that will provide a 48-hour crisis hotline for police to call after making a domestic violence related police report during Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts. The police will connect with a live domestic abuse advocate and give a warm hand off to the victim on-scene. The advocate will offer information, support, and services including but not limited to: safety planning, resources for shelters, reasons to get an order for protection and how to obtain one, resources for children, and other appropriate emergency services as appropriate. The advocate will also provide appropriate notifications to other City partners as needed. Additionally, the Agency will provide quarterly reports as specified below (see Attachment D) and meet with the City on a biannual basis. At a minimum the proposers should specifically describe their program by preparing a response to the questions and including a description of program components as required in Attachment C.
