Specifications include, but are not limited to: • On private lots within the City of St. Paul the vendor will be required to perform abatement services, including but not limited to removal of snow and ice clear to pavement from the adjacent City sidewalks and corner ramps, if present, as identified as a nuisance by the Department of Safety and Inspections Code Enforcement Division. • On private lots, vendor will be required to perform abatement services to remove snow and ice from the entire City sidewalk clear to pavement, including the corner ramps, along the property to full width including salting or sanding all icy areas per the work order. The scope of this project is as follows: • Vendor will need to have a truck and or trailer combination to haul equipment including shovels, snowblowers, skid steer or equivalent, salt, sand and equipment as specified below. • Vendor will need to provide any combination of shovels, snowblowers, skid steer or equivalent and related equipment to remove snow from City sidewalks along residential and commercial properties. Icy areas of the sidewalk will need to be salted or sanded. Skid steer or equivalent must have a cutting edge that is no wider than 60 inches to prevent damage to the boulevards. • Vendor will need each crew to consist of a driver and a laborer. (Minimum of 2 staff) • Vehicle will need to have all necessary hand tools such as shovel, ice chisel or similar equipment to assist in the snow and ice removal. • Vendor will provide before and after digital-colored photos of each job site, time stamped, in landscape mode. • Each job will need to be billed individually for the cost of the abatement to include salt and sand expenses. • Work is to be completed between the hours of 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. • Work may be completed on weekends or City holidays but is not mandated. • Work orders will be completed within 48 business hours of receipt.
