Jackson Storm Water Lift Station Modifications: Modifications to an existing storm station consist of the following major tasks. • Raise the top slab approximately 8 feet to get the top slab one foot above the flood of record at this location. • Extend existing Wet Well wall per dimensions on the plan to allow pouring a new top slab. • Pour a new concrete deck. • Remove and replace portions of existing forcemain. • Provide new access hatches for both pumps and access to the intermediate level. • Construct concrete retaining walls and stair way up to new deck level. • Provide new pumps, base elbows, piping and check valves in the wet well. • Provide new gate structure manhole upstream of the wet well. • Provide new gravity storm sewer up to the gate structure. • Provide new gravity storm piping and catch basins. • Provide retaining wall structural slab and walls. • Provide geo-pile subgrade soil correction. • Import structural fill behind retaining walls to raise grade above flood plain. • Provide new Control Panel and concrete pad at raised grade elevation. • Provide new natural gas generator on concrete pad at raised grade elevation, and associated gas piping. • Provide new secondary electrical service duct bank, wire and conduit from the Xcel transformer vault at the corner of Jackson and 2nd Street. Existing wire to be removed and conduit to be abandoned in place. • Provide stainless steel disconnect in the Xcel transformer vault at the North West corner of Jackson and 2nd street. • Contractor to coordinate and apply for natural gas to the generator and electrical service to the new control panel. • Provide anti-Graffiti coating on new retaining wall. • Provide landscaping plantings, mulch, edging and top soil • Coordinate traffic control plan per the Appendix. Traffic control will be paid direct to Warning Lites company.
