Specifications include, but are not limited to: 10 outdoor wayside interpretive exhibits in 10 different Minnesota State Parks. The State Parks are: Buffalo River, Lake Carlos, Wild River, Afton, William O’ Brien, Fort Snelling, Whitewater, Flandrau, Minneopa, and Myre-Big Island. The work will involve concept design, writing, design, fabrication, delivery and installation of accessible (universal design) exhibits. Installation will be negotiated if final approved design could be installed by park staff. The exhibits are part of educational pollinator plantings at 10 Minnesota State Parks that will provide flower habitat (several acres per location) for many species of native pollinators, like Monarch butterflies and native bees. Interpretive exhibits are a crucial component of the educational pollinator planting sites. These exhibits will be placed along an accessible trail through the educational plantings.
