Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2) WHEN TO BEGIN REMOVING SNOW a) Once snowfall accumulation reaches one-half (1/2) inch and continues during the hours listed. b) When requested by a Facilities Management Representative for special situations not covered in item 2 a. above, such as, but not limited to, a snow and ice accumulation of less than one-half (1/2) inch or drifting snow. c) If, in the County’s sole judgment, performance of plowing is inadequate, respond within one hour if called out to a facility. If contractor fails to report to the site within the specified time, Dakota County may elect to self-perform the contract duties in the absence of the contractor. This time will be billed at the current labor and equipment rates established by the County and will be deducted from the contractor’s invoice.
