Specifications include, but are not limited to: Suppliers to provide all materials, labor, equipment and incidentals necessary for Alley Snow Plowing Services for the Minneapolis Public Works Department. These specifications are for furnishing equipment, maintenance, labor (operator), fuel, supplies and related items necessary to perform snowplowing of various alleys as well as other related plowing throughout the City of Minneapolis (City) during the Winter Seasons that this contract is in force. All work is to be as called for by, and under the direct supervision of City of Minneapolis Public Works, Street Maintenance Division. All work will be billed on a straight hourly rate basis. The City will call a meeting of the contractors at the beginning of each season. The City will be accepting bids for up to 23 (twenty-three) individual units. The awarded bid may be for all or any number of the equipment from completed bid. The City may, at its sole option, cancel the Contracts for any additional winter season(s). The City will give notice to cancel the Contracts by August 31, following the current operational contract year.
