The work includes the construction of approximately: 1. Replace sixteen (16) existing valves and pneumatic actuators with new valves with electric actuators furnished by Owner. One pipe spool shall be rearranged to prevent new actuator from interfering with walkway space. 2. Remove 66” x 30” (approximate size) plastic window located on the upper wall of the filter tank. Install and coat steel plate. Coat a portion of the filter tank exterior. 3. Remove existing Potassium Permanganate chemical system. Furnish and install complete Sodium Permanganate chemical system. 4. Remove existing Fluoride chemical system. Furnish and install complete Fluoride chemical system. 5. Remove existing orthophosphate (corrosion inhibitor) chemical skid. Furnish and install components of the orthophosphate chemical system. 6. Remove existing chlorine booster pump, appurtenances, and adjacent plumbing. Furnish design calculations to determine the ejector size and the flow and pressure requirements of the booster pump. Furnish and install ejector, chlorine booster pump, appurtenances, and plumbing.
