Specifications include, but are not limited to: Effective plant selection, establishment and management plays an essential role to the success of conservation projects. The Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) has developed several guidelines to ensure the success of conservation projects which are designed to: •Develop consistency among state programs.•Avoid the use or introduction of invasive species. •Ensure that plantings function at a high level and meet project goals. State agencies have created standard restoration and conservation seed mixes that can be used for conservation projects. The purpose of this solicitation is to receive responses and award a Contract to one or more Contractors to provide native seeds and native seed mixes for conservation, restoration, and other projects for State of Minnesota agencies and members of the State’s Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) program on an as needed basis.The primary users will be the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Minnesota Board of Water & Soil Resources (BWSR), Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), University of Minnesota (UM), Minnesota State [formerly Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MNSCU)], Soil andWater Conservation Districts (SWCDs) and members of the State’s Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) program.
