This RFP is the Data Center Network RFP Segment for the University of Minnesota's Next Generation Network. Please read the following information carefully. For the next data center networks, the University of Minnesota is looking to purchase a various number of Data Center Network switches, including large spine, small spine, border leaf switches and leaf switches, as well as associated software licensing and support services as may be applicable. We are planning on continuing to use VXLAN and BGP/EVPN, though we are open to other technologies as well. We are also planning on continuing to run 3 distinct data center fabrics: our main (multi-site), our Services Network, and our Science Network. The main data center will need to support 4-10 main locations and 2-20 satellite locations. The Services Network and the Science Network will likely remain single site fabrics.
