The new shelter reflects Saint Paul’s growing commitment and investment to provide quality animal services throughout the city. This project is the culmination of more than a decade of work to move Saint Paul from animal control to a comprehensive focus on animal services. Saint Paul Animal Services division has dramatically changed their operations to reflect an animal services model, reinforced with the name of change from Animal Control to Animal Services. The renovation of the building includes the purchase and installation of new dog kennels and cat cages to serve the various needs, numbers, and conditions of the various animal populations housed in the shelter. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals for the design, development, purchase, and installation of all dog kennels and cat cages for the new Animal Shelter.
