Project Overview Central Lakes College invites qualified tour companies to submit proposals for providing comprehensive travel, logistical, and student support services for the 2027 European Music Department Faculty-Led Program. The selected provider will ensure a safe, educational, and culturally enriching experience for all participants. Respondents must provide detailed responses to each section outlined in this RFP. Prior experience with European cruises and music/cultural tours in England, Spain, and Portugal is preferred but not mandatory. Program Description This program offers students a unique travel-study opportunity focused on music, art, culture, language, natural history, and geography of selected European countries. Pre-trip classroom sessions will prepare students for travel, while post-trip sessions will emphasize reflection and collaborative learning. Note: All travel expenses are the responsibility of participating students. Travel Overview • Duration: 10 to 12-day tour in the date range of June 21, 2027 and July 5, 2027. • Group size: Up to 53 travelers. • Itinerary Highlights: o Arrival at Heathrow International Airport o Two nights in London o Cruise departing from England, visiting ports and locations that maximize cultural learning and educational experiences. o Return flights from London to the USA. The crusie will terminate in England with returning flights to USA from Heathrow International airport. • Ground Transportation: Central Lakes College will arrange ground transportation to Minneapolis International Airport (MSP) from Brainerd, MN and return ground transportation to Brainerd, MN from MSP
