Minnesota North College is requesting proposals to build, outfit, and ship a custom welding trailer, to be utilized throughout northern Minnesota to teach a full welding diploma. 53ft x 8.5ft x 13.6ft (semi trailer), 48” side door entrance, ADA compliant (prefer a lift), storage below trailer, overhead lighting throughout trailer and in each welding station, heat and AC suitable for Minnesota weather with tied in air exchange system capable of handling 10 welding booths, insulated for Minnesota weather, shore power (needs to be able to be plugged in and heating all winter to a low temperature) prefer the ability to run whole trailer on shore power or generator, non-slip easy clean flooring, noise reducing walls, trailer wrap design and installation. The trailer needs to be DOT inspected and report given at the time of delivery. At the time of delivery, we also request a walk through of the trailer and how to use everything on the trailer. The proposed solution must comply with current national accessibility standards.
