Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Campus Mass Notification System to interface with the building access control and fire alarm systems. This will include a system to provide expansion capabilities to be added to every building of the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf and Academy for the Blind. The system proposed shall be utilized already at other similar Deaf and Blind schools for mass notification. 2. Entire mass notification system with all power, data, programming, software, firmware, cabling, hardware, and other equipment required for use within Smith, Quinn, and Noyes Halls on the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf as well as the campus wide system for both Blind and Deaf schools. 3. The primary mass notification for the State Academy for the Deaf will be through video live produced by staff or students presented throughout the buildings in local displays, voice and strobes with secondary mass notification through computers on the network, SMS/Text, and email.
