Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) in partnership with the Department of Public Safety (DPS)- Fiscal and Administrative Services (FAS) Division is seeking to acquire and install a document management system which will serve multiple divisions at DPS. The current document management system is outdated and primarily paper based. The department wants to acquire and install a COTS solution which will track and process purchases, contracts, and other documents electronically. The system will allow permissions and access, internally and externally, to create, modify, process, submit, and approve documents. The contractor will be asked to train staff, provide maintenance and support, and potentially host the system, as part of the contract.
