Line 1 – Feral Swine Trap Trailer or approved equal 2.1 The trailer must be specifically designed for the transport of a Big Pig panel/corral trap gates and panels. 2.2 Gates and panels must be able to hang and stand in an upright A-frame position to evenly distributes the weight for safe travel. 2.3 Trailers must include two heavy duty straps (– 15ft length, 1460lb minimum working load limit, 4400lb minimum break strength) to secure panels and gates to the trailer. 2.4 Gates and panels must be stabilized on the trailer using upright T-braces. Panels must be able to be removed by sliding the panels across the trailer frame in an upright position. 2.5 Trailers must be built on a four-foot, 3500lb axle. 2.6 Trailer must have an engraved VIN tag ID plate riveted to frame with all trailer specs and ID numbers. 2.7 Trailer GVWR of at least 1900 lbs. and not over 2000 lbs. 2.8 Trailer must include safety chains with 7/16” snap hooks with 5,000lb breaking force. 2.9 Must have LED light kit with 7-pin plug (hardwired, no adapters). 2.10 Coupler/hitch- level/straight style to accept 2” ball. 2.11 Trailers overall measurements must be: 70” wide, 122” long, and 84” tall. 2.12 Panel/gate uprights must be 61” tall, 48.5” wide - 51” width between fenders. 2.13 Tire specs: ST205/75R15, 205 width, 75 aspect ratio, 101/97 load index, 81 Mph speed rating, 6 ply load range, 1820lb/50 psi capacity, 15-inch 5 lug wheels. 2.14 Must have stainless steel bearing buddies on each bearing. 2.15 Trailer must have snap lid metal storage box welded on trailer tongue for pin and strap storage measuring 12”x6”x7”. 2.16 Upright braces must double as strap anchor points – must be CNC plasma cut ¼” steel plate. 2.17 Frame braces must double as panel spacers to keep parts in the “A-frame” structure for maximum stabilitymust be CNC plasma cut ¼” steel plate. 2.18 Must include Swivel trailer tongue jack- 3000lb support capacity, 2000lb lift capacity and must be installed on trailer. 2.19 Center frame/runner must be 2.5”x2.5”x3/16” (7 gauge) steel tubing. 2.20 All other steel parts must be 2”x2”x1/8” (11 gauge) steel tubing. 2.21 Trailer must be Painted with F77V100 Quick Dry Industrial Enamel – Custom Color 7054 Oak Leaf Brown. 2.22 Trailer must have Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) included. 2.23 Trailer and all components must come with a 1-year limited warranty. 2.24 Trailers must be manufactured in the USA. 2.25 All steel tubing used in construction of trailers must be USA made and sourced 2.26 All products must be delivered to the DNR with MSO/Titles and inventory sheets, if applicable.
