The Firm will perform the following services: • Legal process and courier services to serve • File legal documents such as subpoenas, motion papers, and appellate briefs All process servers must have a thorough understanding of the MN Rules of Civil Procedure and State Statutes pertaining to service of process and court filings. Please provide the information listed below for the Criminal Division and Civil Division. Assume that there are approximately 730 transactions each year between the Criminal Division and the Civil Division, with 75% of transactions supporting the work of the Criminal Division. This is using 2018 and 2019 as benchmarks, as 2020 is an unusual year. For each Division please provide your best dollar amounts and time to provide the service: 1. Minneapolis proper 2. Outside Minneapolis. 10-14 miles; 14-30 miles; beyond 30 miles; hourly rate plus the mileage. 3. Downtown Minneapolis only. Rates for the above areas of service should be quoted for (a) one-hour service, (b) 3-hour service and (c) overnight service. Also charges for the following: 4. Wrong address within Minneapolis proper. 5. Wrong address outside Minneapolis proper. 6. Cancellation Rate if no attempts are made. 7. Rush return of affidavit of service or not found based on 24-hour notice. Between 8 and 24 hours in which to serve for Minneapolis proper and for outside Minneapolis. Between 1 and 8 hours; 2 or more at same address. 8. Quote discount rates; if any, for process of service. 9. Multiple people to be served at the same address. 10. Advancing a witness fee
