The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, permits, inspections, locates for all utilities, and other incidentals necessary for the demolition and removal of the Mille Lacs Kathio State Park Old Town Hall and Toilet Building within PCA requirements. No subcontracting will be allowed on this project. The vendor will complete the following: - Work to be performed after ground is frozen and approved by Project manager. - Work hours are between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm unless otherwise scheduled. - The demolition vendor shall prepare and submit to MPCA a “MPCA – Notification of Intent to Perform a Demolition” a minimum of ten (10) working days prior to commencing demolition of the structure - Demolish and remove the entire structures and foundations, as well as any associated debris in the area. - Removal of all foundations which will include the placement of clean fill compacted to match existing grade. There is no fill onsite. All material is to be imported and supplied by the vendor. - Tree and brush removal to access structures shall be considered incidental and no additional payment will be made. All debris shall be hauled off site. - All items must be disposed of in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. No on-site burning or burying is allowed. - Seeding and grading will be completed by the demolition vendor, with seed approved by the park manager to best match existing turf surrounding the site area. All affected and disturbed areas will need to be reestablished to meet the approval of the park management. - Damage resulting through the process of the work being performed is the responsibility of the demolition vendor and will need to be corrected to the satisfaction of the project manager. - Vendor will thoroughly clean up the jobsite upon completion to the satisfaction of the project manager.
