Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will be responsible for the following work: • Provide labor and material services generally described as maintenance, repair, and installation at the Dakota County Law Enforcement and Juvenile Service Centers • Programing the video management system, jail management system, and intercom system when changes are made to the system • Run power and data cables for the security systems in the buildings as needed • Purchase materials as needed to service the systems Materials to Purchase The contractor may be asked to purchase various materials. The common materials used at the county which may be asked for are: • Bosch Security Cameras • Bosch Video Management System components (decoders, licenses, etc.) • NVT phybridges • Allen-Bradley Controllers and components • MicroComm DXL Intercom Components Materials Supplied by County The county does keep some materials on hand for quick turnaround situations the contractor will have access to. The contractor is expected to provide the materials for the work being conducted or to replace the materials used from the county’s store if those are used. Labor Needed The contractor will be expected to the following. This is not an all-inclusive list but lists the main functions: • Trouble shoot security cameras which are not working. • Run/re-run cables/wires to security cameras, door locks, intercoms, computers, decoders, and servers • Program security cameras and decoders as well as program the devices into the building’s VMS. • Adjust programming for doors, intercoms, and cameras in the jail management system (subcontractor may be used) • Purchase components of the system and deliver them to the county
