General Requirements: The contractor shall provide insurance examination and development services for the Department of Commerce and Insurance. Such examination and development services shall include: (1) the design and development of examinations and an examination system; (2) the administration, maintenance, and evaluation of examinations; and (3) the examination and evaluation of continuing education courses pertaining to various professional insurance licensees and navigators in Missouri on behalf of the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance, in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the state agency. The contractor shall either provide the services directly or shall provide a person/personnel who must comply with the requirements stated herein. Therefore, references to “the contractor” throughout this document shall also be deemed to include the person/personnel provided by the contractor. Within thirty (30) calendar days after the contractor receives the state agency’s authorization to proceed with services, the contractor shall begin administering examinations, per the requirements herein, at the contractor’s existing Missouri examination locations, as identified in the contractor’s awarded proposal. If the contractor proposed to obtain additional locations in the contractor’s awarded proposal, the contractor shall begin administering examinations at such locations, per the requirements herein, within sixty (60) calendar days after the contractor receives the state agency’s authorization to proceed with services.
