Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Contractor shall provide the 1 year, 3 year and 5 year inspection, testing and performance reporting as required by the authorities having Jurisdiction and as required by NFPA 25 “Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water Based Fire-Protection Systems”. This testing shall be coordinated with and witnessed by Property Services staff. These services shall be provided at the flat rate identified below. • Deficiency correction: Upon discovery of a deficiency during inspection and testing or upon receipt of a notice of violation specifying deficiencies, required alterations and/or modifications it is the intent of the City of Minneapolis to request the Contractor provide services required to return system to function and compliance. Contractor shall provide equipment installation, alterations and/or modifications to existing fire alarm systems to correct deficiencies identified during the annual testing. All work shall be performed at the rates identified below. • System or component replacement: Contractor shall provide technical support to replace fire panels and/or system components as needed to return systems to sustainable function and compliance. Technical hours shall be provided during the normal work week and at the rates identified below. • All work shall be performed in accordance with local, state, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) of the local authorities having jurisdiction requirements.
