The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to install heat tape, outlets, skirting and insulation as necessary to prevent water line freezing on owner occupied manufactured homes located within the six manufactured home parks in the City of Blaine. Materials The following materials shall be used 1. Easy Heat Brand Heat Tape Cable or equivalent metal braided self regulating heat tape 2. Easy Heat Connector Kit, or equivalent 3. Pipe King 3” wide ½” thick fiberglass pipe wrap with vapor seal, or equivalent. 4. Radon testing kit – Any radon kit obtained from Anoka County Community Development or from mn.radon.com is acceptable. 5. All other materials necessary to complete installation according to the manufacturer's specifications. Installation 1. Installation shall be completed according to the manufacturer's specifications for installation with an expected lowest temperature of -20 degrees Fahrenheit 2. Contractor shall review site conditions and verify that water lines are compatible with metal braided heat tape. If water lines are constructed of a material other than PEX, PVC, or metal, contractor shall propose an alternative heat tape installation to the EDA for approval, which will be paid for on a time and materials basis.
