The Minnesota Department of Corrections (“DOC”) Evidence-Based Practices (“EBP”) Unit is in need of a lead facilitator and coach to assist in the implementation and group facilitator of the Habilitation, Empowerment, Accountability Therapy (H.E.A.T) program at MCF-Lino Lakes. Trained and certified co-facilitators will be provided by the state to assist the lead facilitator in the implementation and delivery of this program. The EBP Unit’s goal with this contract is to implement the H.E.A.T program at MCF-Lino Lakes as a culturally appropriate and cognitive behavioral program to incarcerated individuals to reduce their risky behaviors, increase their overall success and prosocial goals, and ultimately reduce recidivism.
