Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Washington County Department of Public Health and Environment (PHE) is responsible for waste management, recycling, and hazardous waste program education. Each year, PHE staff develop and distribute promotional materials regarding a variety of was program areas. PHE seeks to contract with a qualified contractor to provide graphic design and layout services and coordination with printers and other vendors to facilitate the development, printing, and distribution of outreach materials. Scope of Work The Contractor will provide graphic design services to develop promotional materials regarding a variety of waste management program areas to help identify print and electronic communications originating from PHE. Specific projects known at this time that need to be updated and distributed annually include: Environmental Update insert into the Staying in Touch Newsletter, Going Green Guide – a comprehensive booklet mailed to all households that provides waste disposal and education information all in one publication, and materials such as rack cards, flyers, drive lane signs, and displays on an as-needed basis. Other projects within this contract may include: designing rack cards, flyers, and other printed material, designing the Drop it Off brochure, designing signs for the hazardous materials and recycling program and portable exhibits for use at events, designing digital and print ads for local newspapers, formatting plans and reports, and other design and printing requests as needed
