The University of Minnesota (UMN) Forever Green Initiative (FGI) is seeking proposals for a firm, team, or individual to lead the development of a shared cross-sector scaling study and roadmap for the pathway to achieving one million acres of winter camelina (WC) in the Upper Midwest. The study will characterize key steps and stages in the scaling pathway and the crucial activities needed to reach each milestone. Key additional factors include modeling farmer and supply chain economics, regulatory barriers, and the scale and nature of needed investments. Ultimately, study results will create a shared understanding among stakeholders of what needs to be done to scale to 1 million acres of WC in Minnesota and the Upper Midwest as quickly as possible.
