Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of the Project includes converting the Cleveland Chiller Plant from seasonal operations to a year-round chiller plant, providing the St Paul District chilled water loop with an additional 1000 tons of cooling during the shoulder seasons and winter months. Much of the equipment necessary for Project completion has already been procured and the HX has already been installed on a concrete pad. The Project scope consists of installing some piping to connect existing tie-ins to the heat exchanger, all instrumentation (already procured), insulation, and heat trace. Controls wiring for the heat trace will be included in Project scope, but all other controls wiring will be completed by the University. Minimal electrical work is included in the Project scope and is limited to the installation of the heat trace on external condenser water piping.
