02AH0004 Exterior Repairs at Fleet and Surplus Services Building 02AH0004 A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Masonry, Concrete, Painting, and other Miscellaneous construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. This project includes masonry restoration of all areas indicated on the drawings, protection of the interior spaces adjacent to the exterior masonry work, painting of canopies, doors, and frames, reconstruction of the loading dock, and other miscellaneous work. 2. Masonry restoration includes partial repointing, select concrete masonry units (CMU) replacements, and applying a water repellent sealer on the exterior. 3. Alternate 1 Description: Loading Dock Restoration: See Sheet R210, 15/501, 16/501. Includes demolition and replacement of the existing concrete slab, stairs, railings, dock leveler, and electrical connections to the dock leveler. Provide and install new steel steps and railings. Include electrical connections as required for the dock leveler. Include miscellaneous work indicated on Sheet R210.
